The Paddy Buckley Round in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, in North Wales covering 61 miles, crossing 47 peaks with over 8,500m of height gain.
We offer supported rounds over 24, 48 or 72 hours so you can tackle the hardest of the big 3 rounds in the UK with the knowledge that you won't put a foot wrong and can concentrate on completing what is a serious running challenge.
What is the Paddy Buckley
The route was devised by Paddy Buckley and covers the ranges of Moelwyns, Hebogs, Nantlle, Snowdon, Glyderau and the Carneddau. The route was first completed by Wendy Dodds in 1982 and the Fastest Known Time is held currently by Finlay Wild in 15h 14m 45s.
Strategies & Plans
The round involves a large investment of your time, both in planning and heading to North Wales, ding recce's, to find the best lines. This involves a good level of navigation skills and where local knowledge really can help. It's also required to find willing experienced runners, who know the route, to support you......
