Paddy Buckley - Recce Days

These recce days will cover every part of the 61 mile Paddy Buckley round.  This will prepare you physically and mentally for an attempt of the round in addition to  learning the fastest and most efficient lines.  Over some of North Wales' most incredible mountains, this is a run to complete regardless.

  • The Paddy Buckley covers the tops of 47 mountains with a height gain of over 8,500m over a distance of 61 miles (100km).

  • This is the toughest of the big three rounds with large proportions of technical running in the mountains.

  • There are 5 recce days covering the mountains of the Moelwynns, Hebogs, Snowodon, Glyderrau and the Carneddau.

  • Small group ratios enable you to benefit from the wealth of experience and expertise of our running guides that have an intimate knowledge of the route.
