Set in beautiful locations, come and experience a three day retreat combining outdoor hiking in stunning surroundings with first class yoga from our partner at Shiva Shakti Studios


Exercising in nature, boosts endorphins, the feel good hormones that improve your mood while yoga helps to improve flexibility and mobility and alleviate stress, a match made in heaven.

  • Three nights accommodation in either Snowdonia or the Cotswolds set in beautiful serene surroundings.

  • Yoga sessions run each day to prepare your mind, body and soul for the days walks with meditation and pranayama following exercise to assist with relaxation.


  • Enjoy walks led by one of our local guides that have an intimate knowledge of the area with its associated history and nature adding to your experience.


  • Opportunity to immerse yourself in cold water in mountain lakes or at the accommodations very own lake (Cotswolds only).  Cold water is not only good for recovery but has a number of health benefits associated with it.


  • Plenty of time to also relax by rivers rushing waters, visit local attractions, curl up by a log fire with your favourite book or even enjoy socialising with like minded people.

Morning Yang Yoga practice begins with some meditation and pranayama to bring you into your body and to prepare us for the yoga practice.  Yoga flow focuses on synchronising movement and breath, deliberate slow movements that help the muscles to relax whilst simultaneously releasing built up energy.  Vanessa is a very experienced teacher so there will always be variations and modifications offered to those who need it.

Evening sessions we will slow down with a Yin Yoga class. Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer held poses. It targets the deepest tissue of the body, the connective tissues- ligaments, joints, bones and the deep fascia networks. Energetically Yin improves the energy flow enhancing the flow of chi to the organs and offers wonderful emotional and health benefits. It is the perfect compliment to the yoga flow (yang) class while it will assist in aiding a good nights sleep.

We are based in Snowdonia National Park with access to a huge range of beautiful landscapes with trails to suit all levels right from the door of our accommodation. 


Shiva Shakti Studios brings traditional yoga practice right into the heart of Snowdonia away from its London based home. A friendly and egalitarian studio that welcomes everyone - people of all ages and all abilities. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, with over 17 years teaching experience you can be assured you will feel at home on your yoga mat.

  • How do I get there?

    We send out infrormation packs with details of the location of the retreat and how to get there.  We always prefer our customers to arrive via public transport and can organise pickups from the local station.  


    For those arriving by car, we encourage car sharing and will facilitate this through group chats (invitation only).

  • What do I need to bring?

    Here is what you will need to bring:


    • Walking shoes /  boots
    • Socks and spare pairs
    • Thermal long sleeve top and a spare
    • Shorts/leggings / trousers to hike in and spares
    • Lightweight hiking t-shirt (not cotton) and a spare
    • Warm fleece or sythetic jacket for use on the walks
    • Waterproof top and trousers
    • Rucksack 
    • Water bottle
    • A personal first aid kit (with personal blister treatment) and any medications you need
    • Mobile Phone (advisable to put in a waterproof bag)
    • Comfortable clothes for Yoga
    • Personal Yoga mat (Mats are provided however)
    • Swimmng costume / wetsuit
    • Washing items
    • Casual clothes for when you are not doing activities
