Guided trail running within Wales' largest National Park amongst the giants of Snowdonia with routes that showcase the best the area has to offer.

 

  • Run by highly experienced trail runner with British Mountain Leader qualifications and British Athletics qualifications with a passion for the trails in Snowdonia.

 

  • Perfect for runners who regularly run 6 - 12 miles (10km - 20km) or more on any terrain.

 

  • Routes picked to cater for runners aspirations, skill levels and prevailing weather conditions including recce's such as the Paddy Buckley or the Ultra Trail Snowdonia.

 

  • Plenty of chance to talk about the local environment, history, plants, animals and legends of king Arthur and the hiding place of excalibur.

 

 

  • Based in the vibrant village of Llanberis, all runs are accessible from the village or via a short transfer.

 

  • With a selection of forests tracks, slate mines, mountain tops, Llyns (lakes), ridges, and terrain that can include scrambling (sky running) there is something for everyone.

 

  • Price includes running guide, running snacks and homemade treats.

  • £200 per day weekend, £180 per day weekdays (discounts offered for multiple days)


Dean Russell is an active trail runner , climber and mountaineer with over 20 years experience. He is a qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI) and has the British Athletics Fell Leadership in Running Fitness (FLiRF) award. Dean has competed in numerous trail races over the years and finished the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc in 2017. His current focus is on personal challenges and has this year ticked off the Snowden girdle, the Welsh 3,000’s and is currently training for the Bob Graham. You can read his blog.
